My thoughts on Black female villains in film have not entirely gelled yet, because while there are more than before, there aren't enough of them for a pattern to fully emerge. (I have to start by collecting and re-watching the movies again.)

I remember The Bad Seed and at least a couple of remakes. The original one I watched with my Mom. It was one of her favorite movies, and she introduced me to it when I was a teen. I remember being allowed to watch The Omen on TV when I was a teen too.
