My sisters are twenty years my juniors. As they were growing up, I would tell them, that because they are very beautiful girls, there will be men who will see their private time, as belonging to them, and seek to monopolize it. I told them that they are never, NEVER, obligated to give someone their time, attention, or even a smile, if they didn’t feel like giving it. No man can demand their time or attention, and that it was rude for them to try.

My niece is fourteen this year, I will be passing this same information on to this lovely girl. I tell my girlfriends this all the time ,especially if I’m out with them in public, and some guy seeks to monopolize both her time and mine.

One thing I have noticed though, is that the more attractive they think you are, the more demanding of your attention and time they will be, and the angrier they will become if they don’t get it.
