Most of us who get these benefits understand that they were gotten through unionizing. I know I have all those things in my job, including yearly wage increases, because of my union. Many of us also understand our labor history, and know that some of the bloodiest battles, that have been erased from American history, were over labor benefits. We don’t even bother to teach that in schools.
