Like the recent live action Mulan, which was a hot-ass mess! I know more about the Chinese culture depicted in the film, just from watching a lifetime of Chinese action movies, and also I’M NOT EVEN CHINESE!!!

The writers of that bad mishmash were white men and women, who very obviously did no research, didn’t consult a readily available Asian crew, or even hire a cultural consultant! A perfect example of fake representation, where you have Asian people in front of the camera, and none working behind it.
