Lets not forget the effect the pandemic has had on the loss of labor. Some 600, 000 people died, and at least some portion of the dead worked during the pandemic, for jobs that didn't properly protect them, thereby experiencing more exposure to catching the virus. History has shown that every pandemic causes a labor shortage in the aftermath.
