Just wanted to add that I too loved Regency and other historical Romance novels as a teenager and yes, I am a Bridgerton fan, largely on the strength of the existence of Shonda's version of Queen Charlotte. (All Hail the Queen!)

Shonda knows what she's doing, and through her inclusivity, she has brought this subject to a whole new group of fans: Black women, who have never cared about Historical Romances before!
