I've long reached the point where there is a whole raft of subjects that straight, white, abled bodied, cisgender, married men, just don't get to speak on, and that's the many and varied, phobias, and isms that affect everyone else's life except theirs! They don't get to say those isms and phobias aren't so bad, don't exist at all, etc.

These men have the luxury of entirely ignoring most of the world's prejudices and bigotries because they're often not subject to them, so how would they know, especially when they don't need to know to survive.

*For those handful of white men who know about these things because they are actually affected by them, or who have bothered to learn about the lives of people who don't live the same way they do: I salute you! Empathy is a wonderful gift to give!
