I’ve gotten those too. I was told to never click on a link, even if it looks legitimate, and from someone you subscribe to. Companies you subscribe to have no need to ask you for your information because they already have it. I was told to leave out of email, and go to the actual website and check directly if there was a problem.

Another clue I got was if they refer to me by my email, or dear customer. The people you subscribe to know your name.
