It’s not that I dislike remakes either. I’ve enjoyed plenty of remakes, but there is a metric ton of stories in the world that I want to see get made before I die, instead of yet another of the umpteenth retelling of Hamlet, or Romeo and Juliet! I’m the kind of person who rereads stories I love, but sometimes I wanna read new stories too.
