It's ironic. All they have to do to maintain power is change themselves. But it's their fear of any change at all from the past that's going to e their undoing. Most Americans are progressive. We want to move forward and live in the future, not in some bastardized memory of 1957!

And it's all pointless anyway. They cannot stop time. Sooner or later people get fed up with their antics and push them out. At least I hope we will. Since trump my faith in most US Americans has been deeply shaken.
