It’s interesting to me how this idea of perversion, and protecting women, gets used as the excuse to scapegoat every outgroup. From all men of color, to gay men, to trans women, frail white ladies always seem to be in danger, and need saving!

I think ultimately white women need to tackle the concept of them being white mens excuse for committing acts of violence against marginalized people! They need to do the work to unpack this idea that fragile delicate white women and girls are need protection through acts of horrific violence, especially when the number one danger to white women is straight white men!
