It’s funny to me that Miyazaki’s Spirited Away, Alice in Wonderland, and The Wizard of Oz, all have similar plots, but it’s only Coraline that scares the crap out of me!

Alice has occasionally creepy moments, Spirited Away is a joy to watch, with almost the same plot of a young girl having to save her parents while trapped in another universe, and the only thing scary most people find in The Wizard, are the flying monkeys.

But Coraline creeped me out so bad, I won’t read it again. And, it’s ironic, but it’s because I’m so familiar with all the other listed stories that this one scared me!
