It's amazing! Everybody always wants to jump in and "save" white women who make horrible choices, and this was a choice that was made, whether or not she was fully informed. It's not that I'm unsympathetic, I'm just noting the selective caring. When a woman of color makes a horrible choice, there's no sympathy available, as she gets told she should've made a better choice.
