It sounds like they have the comfort and freedom to express it!

Many people have hate. Many groups of people have hate within them, but they lack the ability to freely express it without consequences.

White people in the US have always offered coddling, forgiveness, and excuses for the white people who do things like this, so they know that even if Black and Brown people don’t forgive them, other white people will offer them comfort and care because white people’s feelings take priority.
