It is very telling of the Right that the very first step in the way one cozies up to them, or show them you're in alignment with their ideas, is by expressing anti-black sentiments. That should've been her first clue that that side of the political spectrum is horribly wrong, but because she's white, and I assume a relatively sheltered, middle class child, throwing black people under the bus to sit at the same table as people who can't stand her, was alright with her.

In other words she was willing to put up with and espouse the racism, but like a lot of people, once the hatred was actually aimed at her, only then did she begin to realize her mistake, and quite frankly I'm more than a little tired of people willing to overlook anti-blackness until something in the rhetoric personally impacts them. I'm glad she's learning, but I have no help or sympathy for her. I hope she learns very well the lesson of the turncoat.
