It is straight white men who have been in charge of American culture for 400 years! They are the people that every group that wasn’t them had to appeal to, to have their rights recognized, because they were the ones holding ALL of the reins of power! They took pride in being in power, reveled in their ability to commit atrocities against everyone else with impunity, and now that that whole power thing isn’t working out for them the way it used to, and a certain amount of accountability for what they’ve wrought has creeped into the conversation, they wanna cry about individualism (something they never granted to the groups of people they treated like shit), and innocence!

They can miss me with that it’s not fair/we’re innocent/why is everyone blaming us crap! I’m not buying it just because they feel some type of way about all the groups, they previously mistreated, now being able to talk back to them on the internet.
