It is a near perfect example of why "free speech" purism does not work, and why moderation of social media is necessary. The only people arguing for "free speech" in privately owned forums are either those committing the harm, or those who are never on the receiving end of it.
Its like when you own a house. If you don't have any doors, and end up just letting anybody into your house, absolutely anybody will come into your house, including those who will delight in harming you.
