In a system where racism is built into the very infrastructures the US created there's always going to be institutions infested with bigots. This is yet another of the reasons racism needs to be weeded out of American culture.

And it's not just the lives of PoC that are at stake here. Racism is one of the main reasons the US doesn't have universal healthcare.
