I’m telling people now, once you see a comedian start heading down that particular road to get the f*ck away from them before they reach the “I love Hitler” stage of their de-evolution! At this point they’re no longer interested in their craft of being funny. They’re only interested in garnering attention by being shocking.

This is the point where Chappelle is right now, by attacking vulnerable groups of people (and an issue) that he himself has said he doesn’t know much about. He’s moving away from being funny and illuminating truths to just being “edgy”. He hasn’t reached the loving Hitler stage but just like Ye, if he keeps going down this particular road he’s gonna get there.
