I’m sorry this happened to those poor kids. I hate to say that sooner or later mainstream white people (and most certainly the children who witnessed this) are going to understand that no, the police don’t actually give a flying hot shit about their lives either. The more the police act out the less able they’re going to be able to explain to the next generation that they’re the “good guys”. Black people been knew they’ve never been. Now, unfortunately, mainstream white people who have traditionally supported them are about to find that out first hand and frankly that’s kinda terrifying!

The mainstream are really going to have to believe and champion the idea that All Lives Matter because in the next couple of years the police are about to start showing them that they don’t.
