I’m NEVER amazed by that! White peope don’t need to know anything about any PoC in order to survive as a people. They don’t even need to know who they are as a people in order to survive. White people can live on this Earth in complete ignorance of anything they think doesn’t directly affect them, and nothing in this society encourages them to know anything outside of their personal experiences.

What amazes me are those white people who know things and people outside of themselves and their personal lives. I applaud those white people because they’re fighting an uphill battle against the ignorance they’re socialized by American society to engage in. Good for them.
