I wrote a whole ass post about that, btw! I am long sick and fkn tired of white men's opinions about media that isnt fan servicing them exclusively, because really that's what the critique was about. That the movie wasnt aobut him or anything that was of interest to him.

Far too many white critics literally cannot seem to grasp the idea that their taste in media is their own and just because some piece of media isnt catering to them doesnt automatically make it bad.
