I was always pretty sure that Evo Psych guys had pretty much pulled a lot of their theories out of their backsides because I loved watching those documentaries about different African tribes, like the Wodabi, where the young men of the tribe get chosen by the women in a special festival. The men put on their best makeup, clothes, and whiten their teeth. They then do a special dance to attract their female partners (basically it's like organized peacocking!) The men are chosen on the basis of how pretty they are: whitest clearest eyes and teeth, best makeup, slim nose and build, and height!


I find tribal mating practices incredibly fascinating and many of them bear little to no resemblance to Western mating styles.
