I think this can be done, but its going to be extremely difficult, and from a personal standpoint its going to be really hard for me. A lot of marginalized people were severely traumatized by the election of trump. I've only just started being comfortable in the presence of white people in general in the past year (I blamed all of you!) because I was so incredibly disappointed at the numbers of people who voted for that man.

I'm past that stage now but I had to work at not being sad/angry all the time at everybody. Now, I'm only angry at the people who are still supporting him. I don't know how long it will take to reach a point where I can forgive his voters because I feel some type of way, but at least I'm not still angry, I guess.. Right now I think that will be never, but who knows what I'll think in five or ten years.
