I think there are different types of trumpists. Some of them are deluded and emotionally and mentally incoherent. It's impossible to hold a logical or rational conversation with them. These are the ones primarily seen in those street interviews.

Some of them are with him because they believe they worship authority and money and crave some fraction of his. They tend to be authority driven people.

And Some of them simply share the same character traits as him and admire him for those traits.
