I think one of the main reasons people ae picking up some of these toxic talking points is the monetization of these forms of bigotry on YouTube. A lot of the points you mentioned I've seen recommended to me over and over again on my dashboard.

In fact, it has taken some effort to keep my recommendations clear of these guys who produce multiple videos a day about their favorite hatreds, Star Wars and the MCU. They are clearly making more than a little money off of this. (Fortunately, there are channels that have rose up in response to them. One of those is a coalition of white male fans called the Fandom Initiative, whose job is to loudly and openly pushback against the lies and toxic narratives. )

Sorry to blow up your comments section but the MCU is a topic close to my heart.
