I think it’s because men are socialized to ACT on their sexual impulses and it’s the only experience many of them have. Having to feel a sexual impulse only to convert that into speech or writing takes a completely different mindset. I think you may have better luck with some younger men, the kind of men who are used to communicating online, because it’s how they grew up.
