I sympathize completely.

I am so very, very, tired of marginalized people (of all kinds) having to spend our entire lives desperately trying to convince the people who run everything (ie. straight, white, cis-gender, people) that our lives actually matter, while constantly being shown that they don’t.

Public employees, are there to do a job, but apparently some of them think they get to pick and choose to only do their job, for people they personally approve of.
