I started off not liking either of those characters either but I'm glad they did leave room for them to grow and change and they even gave them a certain amount of depth with their own storylines and issues with their own parents, so I don't feel too bad about checking in for the next season to see where these characters go.
The series does have problems, most ofthem having to do with the casting and how they seem to be trying so hard to shoehorn Wednesday into a hetero relationship when her greatest chemistry appears to be with Enid.
