I sometimes have to use a cane, but I worry about this all the time. So far, no one has bothered me when I’m not using it. The most frustrating thing is that these people all think they’re helping disabled people. Nobody hired them to be the disability police, to make sure disabled people, at least the ones who meet their rigid requirements of disability, could have access to assistance! They really out here thinking they’re being heroic. They don’t care about the disabled. They just want to appear to be.
