I saw this article in Grants a number of years ago. I think this might be amusing for you. It’s a shame that the only images we get in the West about Africa is jungles, deserts, war, and famine. There is in fact a thriving population of Americans who have “gone back where they came from”, and the continent has some of the most beautiful cities (and people) in the world!
