I noticed this some time ago, and noticed it hard. I grew up watching Chinese and Japanese cinema, and Hollywood has always acted like it’s allergic to Asian actors. It was so bad, that they actually believed that Jackie Chan and Jet Li, at the heights of their careers, couldn't even carry an American film, with their own star power, and kept sticking white men in their movies, to star ahead of them!
