I noticed this in a lot of very angry white men (mostly incels). They are so caught up in their own pain and loneliness, that it never even seems to ocur to them that other people are going through the exact same thing, and that their pain and situations are not entirely unique.
Some of them actually seem to believe they are the only ones going through whatever they're going through, and that no other human beings can comprehend their condition!
To be sure, some of them are simply suffering from main character syndrome but not all of them, and can the ones who aren't doing that be reached?
