I liked this, but the whole point of the movie (just like The Dark Knight, The Matrix, and Goodfellas), has often misconstrued by angry white men. Fight Club is a refutation of everything Tyler believes, in that ,in the end, it is our emotional connections to the people around us that make our lives worth living, something the lead character doesn’t figure out to the end.

But you are right about this: Tyler Durden was full of shit!
