I KNEW IT!
This was always my thinking, and it's nice to know I was on the correct track (or at least wasn't the only one who noticed) that a lot of Europeans pulled their ideas about how humanity worked entirely out of their hind ends, just to excuse their sh***y behavior towards other cultures and races of people!
