I just realized something. At my job I answer the phones and sometimes people ask what to call me. I just noticed that I always tell the white people who ask me that to call me Mizz or Miss! I think I'm less formal with Black callers, though. So I do object to being called Aunt by white people. Young Black people can call me Auntie without issue though.

Let's see what happens when I go to work this week.
