I have to add that “thot” is a term I first heard in the Black community by Black Millenials, several years before it got picked up by incels, so I have a different reaction to this word than maybe other people.

It was a term specifically used against Black women, but with the exact same meaning, though. I’m reasonably sure it worked it’s way into incel vocabulary through black incels who are growing in number, but have never been as numerous as white incels, because white incels also tend to be virulently racist, despite the paradox of them appropriating AAVE. I was a bit taken aback by this, because they already have plenty of derogatory words for Black women, so I wouldn’t think they’d use it.
