I have some qualifications for white people claiming to have a Black friend:

What’s their phone number?
What is their last name?
What is their marital status and do you know the name of their spouse and/or children?
Have you ever been invited to their home?

If you can’t pass at least three of these you don’t have a friend, you have an associate. I’m reasonably sure they probably don’t know you’re friends with them, either.
