I have found myself not just disengaging from political news but putting a time limit on my outrage. Once something reaches a certain age I have to stop being mad about it in order to make way for new fresh daily outrage. There’s only so much rage a decent person can hold in ttheir body without killing themselves, and dead we are of use to no cause.
