I don't care what other documentaries get produced, it was far more than likely that it was someone in that family that did it, and Patsy knew who it was, and helped cover for them. From all the interviews, and documentaries I've ever seen in thirty years, it has come to light, that all was not well in that house. I've been studying and reading and watching this thing since it began in 1996, and that family was not well. (People also need to look carefully at Burke too, the ten year old son, who was carefully protected during the entire ordeal.)
I think her death most likely was an accident (which needs no motive) and not a deliberate thing. As it is with most cases, like this one, someone in that house did it, but the family had enough money and clout in that town to not be held accountable, and the police were simply inept. There's no need to create an elaborate story of home invasion when the truth is probably more sordid and basic than people would like to believe. Little girls like Jon Benet get SA'd and killed every single day by members of their own family. The only difference between her and anyone else was her family was rich, (and she had a job as a beauty queen).
Nobody broke in and hurt that child. It was her family all along.
