I do want people to be assured that this is not how Civil War, or the Race War works. Human beings managed to live for millennia without electricity, which is in fact something quite new. What these people want to engage in is a Race Massacre. They fundamentally misunderstand how PoC think about the world (which is par for the course , I guess because…racism) . They really think that just turning off the lights is gonna make us all go insane and attack white people or run out and rob banks and that is not how disaster situations work. We have only to look to those part of the world experiencing disasters right now to know how people are going to behave, so turning off the electricity is defined going to endanger lives but not in the way these people think. (Plus generators exist!)

What they’re doing is trying to find and make up excuses to ‘defend’ themselves from PoC and shoot them in the streets.
