I differ with you on this one. When he ran for the office the first time, he ran as if he didn't want, or even expect, to win, and I think he was shocked that he did. I think he banked on losing that race so he could make endless speeches on how and why he lost, just like he did after losing to Biden the first time. I also think that's why he wanted a rematch with Biden. I think he hoped to win but if he lost he could make endless speeches on losing the race again.
I mean, yeah, he is desperate to win this time, but now that Biden is out of the running, he knows he's lost this race. I think he's truly just given up now. I think he's gone back to the playbook he used after losing to Biden. He will make endless speeches about how he was cheated out of a win.
I don't think there will be another January 6th, for a variety of reasons, not least of which is he doesn't have enough followers for that tactic to work again, everybody is ready and waiting for it to happen, the primary ones who initiated it are locked up, and there have been quite a few followers who have actually learned their lesson. I'm not saying he won't try it again, just that it will not be successful a second time.
