I did hear from a handful of white women about the treatment of Sonya Massey. A few. But it's true. The problems white people keep ignoring will sooner or later come knocking on their front door. It always does!

Far too many white people (especially Western white people) believe they live in a world where they can remain disconnected from the issues affecting people they disregard. They think they are distinct and separate group of people from the rest of humanity, and that "those people's" problems will remain with those people. They still have not learned Neimoller's lesson on who will come for whom, and refuse to recognize they need to care about and fight for ALL lives, not just their own.
