I couldn’t applaud harder for this! I’m getting really tired of people gloating, in the different comment sections I’ve seen, about how voting for Biden was worthless, and he’s not going to change anything.

These people make these complaints without offering a single solution. They seem to be under the impression we voted for Biden because we loved him!

No! We voted for him because he was less toxic, and less traumatizing than the other one. I didn’t vote for him because I thought he was Jesus Christ. I voted for him because I knew he WAS NOT actually Satan.

And right out of the gate, Biden did change some people’s lives. Ask transgender men and women how they feel today! Ask new immigrants how they feel. Just because the changes he has made hasn’t benefited them directly, some people feel a need to gloat to the rest of us that our vote was wasted.

The man has only been in office for two months! It took more than four years (it took decades) to fuck all this up. It’s gonna take more than sixty days to fix it! And in the meantime, the Republicans are still making messes, elsewhere.
