I cannot appreciate the existence of the internet enough. As horrible as people can be online, a world of good has also come out of it. The internet and some of its online communities have very probably liberated more lgbtq people from persecution and unhappiness, than all the messaging, heaped on them by these so-called Christians, could possibly believe.

I credit the progress of much of the current lgbtq movement today (and many other social movements) with the internet’s ability to bring together marginalized people to create the change they need. And I include writers like you, who are willing to share their opinions, and stories, of how you exist in the world.

Question: Have Christians always been this bad? Is this some sort of last hurrah type thing? I mean, I knew they were pretty damn bad, but not like this. (I’m an atheist. I don’t go to church, and I know no people like that man, as far as I know.)
