I agree wholeheartedly, because there is no way you can convince me, no matter how hard you try, that in nearly a hundred years, less than 23 Black actors have NOT been showing up, showing out, and giving it their all in their best work, on camera. You certainly cannot convince me without sounding like a member of the KKK.

Black professionals have been either entirely erased, forgotten, or just openly snubbed for decades. And lets be clear, despite all of the incredible work even white women have done in the industry, the Oscars are reluctant to acknowledge them too, so Black men and women can pretty much forget about it while we watch the same white men get celebrated for their work for decades.

I don't care what changes they say they've made, the Academy Awards is still only a vehicle for celebrating straight white men in film, while occasionally throwing everyone else a bone so they can avoid being called racist and misogynist.
