This is one of the first videos that popped up on Youtube when I typed in: Women Working on Oil rigs. Women have been working on oil rigs since the 90s!

I don't know why this idea persists that women don't attempt to get these types of jobs when the truth is women are gatekept and/or harassed out of these types of jobs by men who make these jobs their entire identity as men.

Also another reason feminists don't fight to get these jobs is that some of these jobs had made significant inroads in attracting women to them decades ago, so the fight to get women into them has been over.
