Hollywood is a corporation, an industry! It doesn't give a damn about representation or racism if that doesn't make money! Hollywood learned so far, that appealing or pandering to us makes billions of dollars, but it didn't stick the landing and that's starting to die off because We were so starved for representation that we would literally go see anything with our faces in it. Hollywood learned that lesson.

Now, that we've gotten that itch scratched though, we now need to teach the industry that "good" representation is what will make them money, and is a good return on their investment. We also need to keep letting them know that white racist fanboys shouldn't get to have a say in what is created and do not control their industry, which is the lesson they have learned from having been pandered to for a hundred years.

If Black Americans don't teach Hollywood these things, If we don't practice discernment, then Hollywood will conclude the effort isn't worth it and stop trying. We'll go back to the state we were in before.
