For me, one of the hallmarks of intelligent behavior is the ability to learn from a f*ckup, but trump supporters are the kind of people who make a horrible mistake and then double down on it.

I can respect the people who followed him, got burned, and changed their minds and behavior, or learned, even if it was late in the game, like in January, but I got nothing but contempt and pity for anyone following his nasty a** today.

They’ve had multiple opportunities to learn and try to be better human beings, and they’re showing all of us that there is a contingent of humanity that is simply not interested in being better people, but in building up and supporting their worst character traits. They admire him, and there’s nothing to be fine with people like that. You cannot save a brain that’s too stupid to try to save itself.
