Even if a womannever requires a man to take care of her, she wants to be assured he’s capable of doing so, and one of the ways a man shows he’s capable of caring for a loved one (of any age or relationship) is by feeding them! Just like men want to knkw if a woman can cook, she wants to know if he is capable of procuring food. At least that’s one way to look at it.
